i haven't looked at this for a while. it's still mostly accurate but there might be tweaks idc to crack down on it

• first of all I don't subscribe to six minus six for this so write that down
• diverges at the end of alliance bc of course it does. biowulf takes the offer and fucks off out of the pack and IMMEDIATELY freaks out about it to the point that Circe is like uh rex why dont you go I think I have to walk this fully grown dog man through some deep breaths
• he has 0 plans so he ... kinda just... lives out there. in the. woods. of Ukraine. what's he going to do Integrate into society? he was just in an us vs them evo cult
• he does this for ... a few months. almost 0 contact with society. it's kind of nice actually (said through gritted teeth) (voice of dog who doesn't know he hates it)
• meanwhile rex disappears, the defectors group moves to the dam base, theyre doing their own thing ... still tackling EVOs sometimes, freelance merc work, etc
• maybe two months after rex's disappearance six ends up in Biowulf's neck of the woods for a job and encounters him. takes defensive action but receives almost no fight back. biowulf is just like if you're going to kill me you may as well kill me. and six is like damn this dude is fucked up
• six knows some things biowulf does not: 1. Providence is entirely upended rn and black knight would not hesitate to collar biowulf. 2. the defection group is shorthanded, and while very few ppl know the circumstances of biowulf leaving the pack six of course does. 3. vk is also gone.
• six makes the decision to bring home a dog no he doesn't ask first. no he doesn't tell biowulf that rex or vk are gone. why would he do such a thing
• he does tell him that they left providence but only bc he knows exactly how to get biowulf in. like 'we aren't part of that anymore. difference in opinions. how would you feel about finding a new purpose'
• awkward but piercing mid flight conversation. 'you left providence.' 'yes.' 'was it because of the boy?' '... a lot of things have changed.'
• six calling holiday on the way back like 'i have a passenger btw.' 'what? who? why??' 'ive got it handled' click
• he only called to make sure she'd be the one to meet them when he landed and that's good bc she sees biowulf come off the plane and is like hey six can I talk to you over here really quick? Are you out of your mind or stupid pick one. and six finds himself in the unique position of defending a once enemy bc he sussed out that the guy was too emotionally damaged by his own act of betrayal to be a threat. which bc it's six comes out as 'he won't hurt us. why? bc I said so. source: bro trust me.'
• he does go talk to wk first so bonus awkward momence with holiday and biowulf who honestly might not have known holiday existed
• 'you aren't telling me something' 'of course we're not telling you things. two months ago you would have killed me on sight. whatever six is planning it doesn't mean I have to trust you' 'hmm' begrudging respect
• wk is       not happy
• but he does trust six.
• biowulf did not know that wk was going to be part of this. he is also not happy.

• look wk is known to be evo hater numero uno and to biowulf 'we left providence' meant 'six, the doctor lady (?), rex, and maybe that monkey left wk.' grr growl bark. wk in his exosuit just makes a disgusted face and tells him that if he can't control himself they'll put him back out on the curb where stray dogs belong
• (biowulf will remember that)
• but he does strike a deal of ‘ok you can stay if you prove your worth’ which biowulf hates and of course immediately takes very personally
• also remember that they currently have no . good way to take down evos without just killing them. there’s no rex. the technique is just murder them i guess. so first time they go out to do that and biowulf is along for the ride he basically decapitates the evo theyre fighting
• also he killsteals from six :/
• wk is kinda impressed though. everyone comes back and he’s like Hm. Keep it up.
• and biowulf is like hm. i think i am winning.
• Four months! of slow burn simmer from ‘this guy fucking SUCKS’ to seeing wk as someone with very serious convictions and an untouchable moral compass (that is not pointing due north that’s literally fine). i think one of the major turning points is when wk has to come out of the base for a situation that requires his delicate touch (exosuit. needs a exosuit) and he does Violence unto people all while doing that smug little smirk of his and biowulf is just so impressed with him going into action too. wk of providence was always just behind the scenes so it was assumed he was, you know, a little bitch
  • hold on wait. theres a defensive wall up for a long while bc despite having been out of the pack for months biowulf still wants deeply to be loyal to vk. and everything about wk is filtered thru a comparison to vk and he thinks wk is soft and unfocused and weak and vk wouldn't stand for the insubordination shown by the other two and vk would have crushed them etc. it gets worse before it gets better. he gets rebellious bc he thinks he knows better than wk (and six and holiday) abt what's best here. he ignores orders. he crosses lines.
    • this is after a little while bc he has to get comfortable enough to be bratty.
  • and he steps out of line during some critical mission that costs them some resource or whatever (or maybe he's unnecessarily violent) and wk comes out of hiding to snap at him in person. (in exosuit) tells him that he has been given a very long leash (...) and that wk has been putting up with this as a favor to six and a tactical advantage but biowulf is not so vital to this cause that he can't be cut loose. and some part of Biowulf's broken brain just settles down for being yelled at. order being established. hierarchy being made clear. wk gets a little in his face abt it and the exosuit makes him massive and their roles click into place and biowulf is like Oh. Okay.
  • one, wk is actually serious abt what's happening here, this is important enough to him to fight about it. two, he means what he says and he won't just let someone float along aimlessly - six and holiday (and later rex) have earned that right thru time and effort. three – being important to a cause means being held accountable, to biowulf, and he will respect someone who keeps a tight grip more than someone lenient
  • i was gonna say he compared wk and vk less after but nah vk haunts him for forever. he just compares them more favorably. thank god he never verbalizes this wk would Hate that shit

  • he does sleep in front of wk’s door. he does get absurdly jealous of six.
  • jealousy is a thing that he never figures out how to deal with he’s a one-person kind of dog. he thinks deeply about putting six in harm’s way but he’s smart enough to know wk would see right through it
  • six knows. 100%. and will have long moments of prolonged eye contact daring biowulf to do something about it. biowulf always looks away first lmao
  • after that first turning point with the yelling he goes guard dog for a bit. he goes bodyguard. which wk does not love. but if there's anything biowulf has practice at it’s prowling just close enough behind a man who's extremely prickly and will turn around to slap him at any moment. Also six thinks this part is kind of funny ‘he won't leave me alone. six you dragged him here do something’ ‘He likes you :)’
  • i forgor my original thought of holiday wanting to kind of take him apart like a new toy so that definitely has to happen before ⬇️ that can happen. she is known for Weird EVO torture. every other evo has been much more organic than mechanical except for rex so getting a big semirobot dog is so exciting can she please just take a peek she'll find anesthetic somewhere she promises
  • holiday keeps trying to talk to him about how maybe um. he has some problems, and maybe he could stand talking about it? and also maybe wk isn’t a great focus for him? This goes nowhere
  • this also happens with caesar. Caesar def shows up uninvited at some point bc it's caesar and he does just have the base’s address and he swings by and he's like whoa! white knight I didn't know you liked dogs. and bw already does not trust caesar salazar but he sniffs out the weird relationship between him and wk really fast and puts Caesar at number 1 on his hit list
    • btw he knows who Caesar is. of course he does. better than he knew who wk was before joining this group. vk has mentioned Caesar before and caesar is partly responsible for the nanite event so biowulf has done his research. he already didn't trust caesar back with the pack (idk if vk would have ever outright said like ‘also I killed his parents’ but I don't think he'd especially hide it and bw will happily mirror his master’s distaste for a guy) and now he trusts him even less
    • also caesar is kind of  responsible for his existence at this point. and he does not. love that.
  • anyway Caesar ALSO wants to play with wk’s new toy but unfortunately he has the combined force of not giving a shit abt losing face and also not caring as much about getting permission so he just goes white knight! I'm going to put your dog into a contraption okay n_n and then he just kind of lies to Biowulf and says ‘yeah white knight said I should do this’ bc there's no way he's walking away from the opportunity to finally poke around inside a sapient evo that isn't his brother
  • so assault on abysus. i don’t uhh. i so want to say that it’s fine but i don’t think the pack survives post-vk without biowulf. not that i think biowulf is a particularly driving force or has the Leader’s Spirit or whatever but i do think he was kind of the last bastion of binding loyalty to the pack as a group vs the pack as a theory/concept. with biowulf, vk, and breach all gone ithink the evos kinda disseminate as smaller sects committing to life in abysus rather than sticking around as a united force in the castle. none of them are going to really benefit from the castle anyway. so. the assault on abysus still happens, and circe still shows up to warn about it (wildly awkward btw. also so was mind games. bamboo reminded me abt mind games.), but it’s not like an army vs army thing it’s about… who can infiltrate the castle quickly and quietly. also rex having the ability to shlorp into the lab. that helps
  • AND THEN MIND GAMES IS CRAZY BC THE WHOLE CIRCE THING. scarecrow really having to be like how do you do fellow pack! as circe and biowulf like --. and then the truly heinous vk mimicry that leaves biowulf convinced he’s being haunted but also leaves scarecrow thinking ‘this dude is FUCKED’ bc he tfs into van kleiss to berate biowulf and biowulf is like you’re sooo right master heem heem whimper. yikes! good thing that shit happens in private. anyway later theyre like dude you literally lived with circe why didn’t you figure out that that was a fake and biowulf is like ok 1. i do not like her 2. the guy who wants to kiss her is right there and he was tricked can you hop off my dick im having flashbacks rn
• at one point they have to tell him about vk. he notices you know. surprising lack of pack activity. he never had any delusion that he was so important to vk that his disappearance would actually interrupt operation - the jungle cat incident really hammered that home - so going months without any word from the pack is, you know, noticeable. but he’s not gonna bring it up around six or god forbid holiday so he waits until it’s late and he can creep into wk’s uh ‘office’ (dingy dam room) and say ‘something happened to van kleiss. but no one has said exactly what.’
• and then wk has to be (eugh) responsible and think of someone else’s feelings and explain it… delicately. it is not very delicate.
• biowulf is in a haze for like two straight weeks. he defaults to just following wk around like a lost dog and wk has to be like it’s… Fine…. :/ don’t… worry about it.
• six doesn’t like this so much (body guarding puppy is different than obviously traumatized clingy dog)
• when rex comes back biowulf is already at the point of i will happily die for this white man but rex throws a wrench into everything. bc. rex. why would they need a doggy if they have the cure. he gets just wildly defensive as soon as rex steps foot in the dam
• (rex like ?? HUH? BIOWULF? BIOWULF IS THE EVO YOU GOT TO REPLACE ME? • you know 1 day in of them paying attention to rex and he’s like ok. that makes sense. i will go now. there was 1 opening and i was a temp.
• of course i’m using this as an excuse for a dramatic scene where he tries to sneak out at night and wk shows up in the doorway like Where do you think you’re going. Vacating your post, are you?
• it’s not exactly nice or gentle or kind but if he’d been any of those things biowulf would have bristled and left anyway. biowulf goes ‘clearly im not needed here anymore you have your evo’ and wk is like ‘Don’t be an idiot.’ and rolls his eyes and that’s IT that’s the WHOLE CONVERSATION bc GOD FORBID he expresses a emotion. wk just walks back inside after that and after a beat biowulf stops worrying abt it and lets himself go into lackey mode and follows
• this isn’t a healthy au i hope i didn’t make you think this would actually be Good. for him. at all.
• i think the most climactic moment imo is when target: consortium happens and it’s biowulf instead of jungle cat and he sees vk through the glass and vk is playing wacky and it’s just such a. disillusioning and damaging moment for him. the first time you see your ex-master and he’s pretending to be out of his mind and he’s working for the literal enemy and he’s just a servant of some evo-loathing woman and it’s so. he does the rest of that episode on autopilot and he’s so completely bewildered and out of it that even rex is like um. i think your dog needs therapy?
• insert bamboo wulfknight image here that’s when THAT happens. he gets so pathetic and pitiable and dissociated that he just sits on the ground and even wk is like… ok… ok. fine. yeah.
• something something knowing the betrayal of someone trusted and close (six knocking on the door I did not do that. What is your problem)

• it NEVER gets romantic it NEVER gets resolved it JUST becomes absolutely overwhelming obsession on biowulf’s part and he idiolizes wk into the next dimension and it’s even worse than with vk he’s always sitting on the god damn ground

  • I've thought mostly abt rex leaning via exposure to Biowulf that there are evos who are happier being evo. and that knowledge changing the way he approaches the endgame. bc rex doesn't have a lot of access to ppl like that in the canon and he doesn't count himself (he exempts himself anyway). see post abt this
  • kind of funny that this would leave the world most in need of a group like a vk-less pack to benefit those who chose to stay evo but biowulf is not in a position to lead them a la assault on abysus
